Florida Boys

          For a few months, George Younce was the Florida Boys' bass singer. According to group manager Les Beasley, this was in late 1958 and early 1959. Founding bass J.G. Whitfield had left the group in about 1958; after Younce left, Billy Todd took his place (and ended up staying through 1972.) To Les Beasley's knowledge, Younce made no LP recordings with the group during his time with them; any recordings made with the group would have been singles or radio transcriptions.
